Since Willow and I went out too late last night (if you can call 3am late), we decided to give it another try and went out even earlier at midnight. The day was very warm in the valley bottom and the cool mountain air was a relief.
The sky was not completely clear, but the stars broke through in several direction. All and all a good night.
The aurora shone in the northeast washing away many of the stars. I was hoping it would spike and give us a show. Plenty of strange atmospheric light to the east.
Saw a few rabbits that just about drove Willow crazy.
