Here is another photo from the other night. Looking at reports, for our area, it was the strongest aurora of the year. Unfortunately, we caught the tail end of it when it was dieng down. By all accounts it was spectacular before our 3:20 arrival. I didn’t know we were expecting a geomagnetic storm or we would have camped out. Instead the good neighbour and I were on the hunt for a few stray Eta Aquarids meteors. Talk about luck!
