Such a delight to see a splash of colour on the winter landscape.
I am so lucky to be able to go south for the winter. I have cardinals, robins, and other birds from summer at home here with me.
It is such a pleasure to watch birds. Your winter birds may become our summer birds. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Take care. Bob
So pretty Bob. Looks like someone has taken a paint brush to him/her. 😀
Hi Julie, it is enjoyable to see winter birds. hey are tough little souls. Hope all is well. I bet your garden and fruit trees are going crazy. How are the tomatoes this year? Take care. Bob
The toms are good except the green shield beetles are loving them 😄
I assume the Green Shield Beetles are not a progressive-alt-folk-rock-blues band hired to play Bill’s birthday party! 🙂 🙂
The Pine Grosbeak is such a beautiful bird!
Hi Wanda. Yes they are a beautiful bird. Do you have them in your neck of the woods?
I think we are too far south. I have saw Pine Sickens though.
Hi Wanda! I thought maybe they were called Sickens in Tennessee. 🙂 Seriously, the Pine Siskin is one of my favourite birds. Take care on that tobogganing hill. It’s probably getting pretty slick. Bob
You get plenty of interesting birdlife around your way. I don’t seem to see many different varieties.
Hi Carol. We live along a river trench stretching along the Rocky Mountains, so we see many varieties throughout the year due to their migratory patterns. It is pretty exciting to see the return of the many various birds (I’m not sure if exciting is the right word but for me it is). Bob
