Can’t see the forest for the trees.
Lisa and I were back up the creek for breakfast this morning. Willow and I choose to walk out . The temperature of the snow was such that it started to ball on Willow’s fur. She would run ahead then stop to gnaw the snowballs off her chest.
Our old sweet hound Slinky seemed to have a much tougher time with balling snow than Willow. Slinky’s hair was much more ‘wiry’. Willow hasn’t been hand stripped yet. We are planning on doing it in the spring. It will be interesting to see how it comes back in.
Shoot from the hip.
It has been overcast with snow and the forecast calls for more of the same. It would be nice if it cleared for some star chasing. In a few days Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will all be visible in the sky at the same time. It has been awhile since that has happened. It would be nice to snap a few photos of the event.
Still, it’s nice to watch the snow fall.
