Is that to do with those forest fires?
Hi Carol. Yes it is. Smoke turns the sun and moon orange. Also makes the air quality poor.
We don’t get forest fires here really – well, only small ones and only occasionally – so we don’t see effects like that. We did have some people trapped on a Scottish mountain one year when all the descent route sides caught fire while they were on the ridge – they had to be rescued by helicopter!
It has been a bad year for forest fires. Dry with plenty of storms. I thought I could see some blue sky tonight, so hopefully it will start to clear soon. Take care. Bob
