Got up extra early this morning to take advantage of the clear, moonless night. It was close to 30 below. Needed to be quick with the camera setting so the fingers wouldn’t get cold. The bright part of the Milky Way is making a return and is low on the southeastern mountains. I took a few pictures and raced back in to go to work. By the time I returned a crescent moon was starting to rise. It never seems I have enough time. Regardless, very fine morning.
