The sun was shining! I was off early. Lisa and I drove towards the old burn. It was still cold. We wanted to look east when the sun set. The shadows rose. The sky turned colour. I had to push a track up there. Some of it over flooded ice. It is okay as long as water doesn’t flow under. One can never tell about such things. We discussed if we would be happier with someone younger. I said I was too old to teach new tricks. Lisa said the tricks she would teach would kill the young. In the end we figured we better stick together. Lisa complimented my driving.  The old dogs lamented the cold.
